Specialities

  • Since but a kid, I cared wistfully so to put out into the world meaningful, purposeful works. This manifests to this day through my designs and artworks - human-centered, nature-inspired - building experiences beyond design.

Programs: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, Procreate

  • Poetry, blogs, stories fills our life in abundance - if you have the leisure and space to welcome it. In the digital age with a seemingly growing literacy epidemic, I am working diligently to master the craft of storytelling - being able to articulate my words well - to convey the message with clarity.

My poems can be found alongside my photographs on my Instagram: @photographehur

  • Because content creation takes shape and form in various ways - I am always finding ways to elevate my form of filmmaking that is true and authentic to me.

For if you speak loud enough - or rather, if you speak with passion and authenticity - you will be heard.

Programs: Final Cut Pro, Davinci, VLLO

  • In my travels, I can always be seen with my vintage blue camera bag slung on my right side. Going beyond “capturing the moment,” to find the extraordinary in the ordinary.

3 things accompany me always: nature, tea, and my camera.

  • Immigrating to New York as a 6-year-old, I grew up American in a Korean body. In order to discover my roots and in the midst of a cluttered and lost young adult mindset, I went to South Korea as an exchange student - to further my education in a bustling city of technology and arts, but to also increase in my wisdom of my Motherland’s culture and language.

I currently volunteer as an fluent Kor-Eng translator and can confidently say I’ve come to realize it matters not whether I’m perceived as “American” or “Korean” but that I myself an aware of and grow from my roots of the diverse cultures, people, and experiences that uniquely shape me.
